Hello friends and family! Since we will be far away in a distant land (aka Texas), we decided to bring our news to you! We will keep this blog to keep you informed about life in Houston for the Vogliardos. Here is the scoop. We are moving for good on June 20th to a beautiful apartment complex in The Woodlands, TX. I will be leaving for Bolivia on July 3 with Engineers Without Borders for two weeks, but will return and begin working as a safety engineer with the ExxonMobil Development Co. Carl had a very successful interview on Friday, June 4 with Itron in Houston. His potential boss recommended him for employment and we are anxiously awaiting for some good news! Carl hopes to start working in early July.
We are sad to be leaving our home state of MO, but we know that we will carry a little of it with us no matter where we are destined! And in case you were wondering, we are still going to cheer for the Cardinals...especially when they play the Astros :) We purposely chose an apartment with a second bedroom just for our visitors, so if your travels are calling you south, please feel free to stay with us! Look forward to sharing more with you as our new life unfolds!
